Wow, wow, wow! Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets to our first online and interactive concert yesterday. It warms our hearts to know you’re in this with us, exploring new technology, listening to us in our living rooms, letting us have a peek into yours.
The extra-exciting part about yesterday’s show is that $2 from every ticket sold is going toward the maintenance and stewardship of our Good Lovelies Forest!
WE RAISED $1800 YESTERDAY!
Thank you to Miranda Mulholland (of the band Harrow Fair) who stood in as our moderator, who offered her time to help us pull the show together, to help us all learn about the very valuable MUTE button, to help us navigate our first interactive concert. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Thank you to our guests, Nancy, Olin and Ed for sharing your beautiful stories about how our music fits into your lives. For songwriters, it is the highest compliment knowing a song struck you so deeply. Thank you for being part of the show. PSST: Visit Nancy Bennett’s art website here!)
TO ALL TICKET BUYERS TO OUR MAY 24th SHOW:
An email with the full online concert link is coming your way shortly (as well as an extra video link from us to you!)
THE LINKS IN THE CHAT DISAPPEARED FAST SO HERE THEY ARE AGAIN
BANDCAMP has been the top supporter for musicians since this all started. Once a month they waive their fees to give all sales proceeds to artists. We released the single Torn Screen Door there first for that reason. Next fee waiving day is
FRIDAY JUNE 5th, 2020.
While we can’t be together to give you your favourite cover songs, you can watch and listen to our 2012 Hallelujah cover from our album Live at Revolution.
TIP JAR: Thanks for your donations to our tip jar yesterday.
For those who asked, here’s that link again!
We will continue to learn and refine the online concert experience to improve your enjoyment of it and to offer you something unique while the world has grounded us in our homes in Southern Ontario.
The very best way to be in direct contact with us is through our mailing list.
SIGN UP HERE, and we’ll share with you first the music we’re releasing, the videos we’re sharing during social distancing and the secrets we’re keeping from the greater social media platforms.
If you write us, we will respond. Let’s stay connected.
We leave you with the first in our Together/Apart Series: I See Gold
