One of Canada’s most revered vocal trios, Good Lovelies are hitting the road to perform selections from their six previous albums alongside songs from their latest Juno-nominated album, We Will Never Be The Same.
This latest release from the Toronto-based ensemble of Kerri Ough, Sue Passmore and Caroline Marie Brooks is a collection of songs that strikes a tone of hopefulness, steadfastness, and perseverance, even when enduring moments of tribulation and even despair. The heaviness of some of the subject matter is lightened by the exquisite beauty of the compositions and the trio’s stellar, powerfully deep and resonant vocal performance.

Minor Gold will be opening the show – they are the Americana-Folk duo from Australia, made up of ARIA nominated artists Tracy McNeil & Dan Parsons. Their sound is replete with masterful harmonies, deft guitar playing with dynamics ranging from the intense restraint of campfire intimacy through to open throttle abandon. We hear the hedonistic groove of early 70’s cosmic Americana, the daydream haze of 60’s folk, and the power and romance of 80’s pop but despite the classic references of yore, it’s undeniably music written for the here and now.
